Chalk It Up

Show off your artistic skills and create a chalk masterpiece. All ages (and families) are welcome to participate.

 

Celebrity Judges Vince Bellardini and Mike Eves from X101 Always Classic will award prizes.

 

There are three categories for artists

  • Young artists through age 12 all skill levels

  • Novice 12+ all skill levels 

  • Elite 12+ intermediate to advanced skill levels

Here is how it works:

1.  Create your artwork

2.  Artwork can be interactive

3.  Incorporate design elements: 

  • #607day

  • #community

  • #bettertogether

4. Snap a pic and submit it to staff@cortlandunitedway.org

5. Share your work with us on FaceBook @unitedwaycortlandcounty or Instagram @cortlandunitedway

     and use the hashtags #607Day and #cortlandunitedway

6.  Artists must provide their own supplies

7.  Mediums must be non-permanent and washable

 

Judging is based on originality and incorporated design elements. Entries will be posted on our social media and website. Winners will be announced week of June 8th.  Prizes will support local businesses.

​ Because CNY weather is always a factor, artists can participate between Friday, June 4 and Sunday, June 7.
