Day of Caring

The annual Day of Caring was held on September 26, 2018. The event began with 40 McGraw High School students participating in community service projects in McGraw and over 20 Aldi employees completing service projects in Cortland.Throughout the month of September, over 20 businesses and schools hosted collection boxes and donations were made to food pantries throughout the county. Collection boxes were all picked up by volunteers and brought to Beaudry Park where the third grade class at Randall School and volunteers from the Child Development Center helped sort the food. The food was sorted for ten different food pantries throughout the county. Cortland United Way in partnership with Bobs BBQ hosted a barbecue lunch for participating businesses and volunteers throughout our community.
