United Way for Cortland County uses a funding model called Community Impact. This model allows us to become an active partner in solving community problems, rather than acting strictly as a fundraising organization. Grants are awarded to local programs based upon the impact they are having in our community. We will focus on three areas that we feel are of the greatest importance in Cortland County – Family Support, Health, and Income.
You are invited to apply for the Spring 2017 Allocations Cycle if your program is meeting needs in one or more of our priority areas, Family Support, Health, or Income. Applications will be available in March. Please contact the United Way if you are interested in submitting an RFP or have questions. (607) 756-5639.
